Tutti i pescatori a mosca primo o poi si cimentano al morsetto ed iniziano a costruirsi le imitazioni, perché indubbiamente pescare con le proprie mosche è fonte di grande soddisfazione.
Ad un certo punto della mia vita di pescatore a mosca ho pensato di andare oltre il morsetto e provare a realizzare la “mia” bamboo fly rod. Parecchi anni e tanti trucioli sono passati da allora, dalla numero uno, anni dedicati alla ricerca continua del miglioramento, anni in cui soprattutto ho avuto la fortuna di conoscere e frequentare i più grandi rodmakers del mondo.
Credo che ogni rodmaker, inconsciamente, metta nelle canne che realizza una parte di se stesso ed è per questo che si dice che questi meravigliosi attrezzi da pesca hanno un’anima. Sono oggetti artigianali che sono uguali solo a se stessi perché non può esistere una canna da pesca in bamboo identica ad un’altra, ognuna ha una sua particolarità che la rende unica.
Le mie canne in bamboo sono realizzate utilizzando attrezzi manuali e tecniche tradizionali che rispettano “l’anima” del legno e sono rifinite con componentistica di altissima qualità e sete naturali. I sugheri, i legni e la meccanica dei porta mulinelli sono di mia produzione.
Nel corso degli anni ho affinato la tecnica per la costruzione degli innesti in bamboo che realizzo sia nella versione “normale” che in versione “streamlined”.

At a certain point my life as a fly fisherman, I decided to go further than the vise and to try to make “my” own bamboo rod. Many years and a lot of shavings have passed from my number one; years which were dedicated to continuous research of improvement, years in which I had the fortune to meet the greatest rodmakers in the world.
I believe that every rodmaker, unconsciously puts something of his soul in the rods he makes and that’s why we say that these wonderful fishing instruments have a soul. They are unique handmade items because no two rods can be exactly the same, each one has something that makes it special.
My rods are made by using manual tools and traditional methods that respect the “soul” of the bamboo and are finished with high quality components and natural silk. The grips and reel seat mechanics are of my production. During the years I have refined the technique for making bamboo ferrules that can be realized either in the “normal” or the “streamlined” versions.
